The Alamo

As a member of the Historic Hotels of America and designated on the National Register of Historic places, the Crockett Hotel was completed in 1909 as a hotel and as the headquarters of a fraternal organization, the IOOF. The hotel is located on land that was once a part of the Alamo compound and Mexican troops gathered on a portion of the current hotel property as they made their assault against the Alamo in 1836.
